The Dating Site Signup Procedure
Though we all like the signup process to be easy and quick, when it comes to online dating, information is the most important thing to convey to a possible match.
Its hard to mark down a dating site because they make you fill in lots of information about yourself during the signup process.
We do however mark down sites that give the impression of a quick signup, and then each time you think you have finished and can now see what your chosen dating site can offer, you get taken to another page to fill in.
We have seen some where this can go on for 5 or 6 pages, even more if your forced to take a psychometric test whilst signing up.

The Dating Site Photo Information
Photos, another impotant part of online dating, everybody needs to see who they are talking to.
Here we give extra points for dating sites that allow users to upload many photos or video introductions, bonuses are given if they offer alternative means of submitting your photos IE. by post or texting
We also deduct points for sites that allow active paid up members to continue to be active if they have not uploaded a photo within a specific time period.

Number of levels and the availability of many different levels we class as good points, as long as they are not exclusive, everybody must be able to attain them.
The most important point in this section is, how easy it is to cancel should you wish to do so. The majority of points are won and lost on this point in this section.

Lots of points can be gained here by the enterprising dating site, we are looking for search functionality that though staying simple to use, also allows comprehensive filtering.
An advanced search should be vailable in addition to the normal "Quick Search" and provide filtering for each point you have to enter into you profile, to enable users to narrow down results to profiles that match what they are looking for.

The Dating Site Messaging System
This is obviously essential. We mark on ease of use and functionality available. We frown on dating sites that of different functionality IE. Video Chat and charge extra for it.
Some sites also provide text messaging, this is fine if the costs are within a reasonable level, We urge users to check the cost of messages before using this facility where available.
Only real difference between sites here is functionality, messaging is pretty standard, so points available reflect this.
