Dating For Parents - Ease Of Use
Sign up very easy, just a few details initially, and then work on your personal profile. You have the option to add a Chat-up line (60 characters) and then a more detailed description.
On left hand side, you can see Your Activity:, shows any news messages, how many people have viewed your profile, and who has added you (as their favourite).
Dating For Parents Signup Procedure
Sign up process couldn’t be simpler, though when we tried our confirmation email never arrived, even tried getting our password re sent and this didn’t arrive either, tried again the next day and the emails arrived without a problem, so probably just a hiccup in their system.
Once you have entered your information to register, whether your male or female and the gender you’re looking for, (you can’t change this so get it right), that is it site back wait for the confirmation email, this will contain your password, and login.
You don’t have to fill in your profile now, you can take your time over that, have a look around the site have a look at what others are writing and try and make yours better.
Filling out your profile, for detailed information its just a case of clicking the right choice, very simple. When you move onto the next sections you will need to be a bit more creative, here you need to enter a tag line, something short and sweet to grab people’s attention, make them look at you.. (TIP: a good photo will do that better though) and a short description about you..

Photo's: You can upload up to 10 photo's to your profile. You can even post a picture and DatingforParenst will upload if for you, or you can send one via your mobile!
Video: You can record a 30 second video to tell prospective matches about yourself and your interests.
Dating For Parents Member Levels
There are 2 member levels on Dating For Parents.
Standard members that can do most things including seeing who has looked at you, and send the message bomb (see Messaging below)
Premium members that have full unlimited access to all functions on the site (except the Extras that are accessed through you mobile, these are charged in addition to your membership fees)
When you Subscribe, your credit card will be charged immediately. 1 week, 1 month and 3 month packages automatically repeat and it is up to you to cancel the repeat agreement before the due date of the next payment if you so wish.

Quick Search - Search within selected radius of your 'home' town, and by age range. You can also save this search so that you can come back again and search by these criteria again.
Advanced Search: Search by all criteria, Distance, hair colour, eye colour, body type, etce etc)

Member Search: Search for a Member by their Screen name.
Members online: Search for members who are online now
Dating For Parents Messaging System
Dating For Parents offer the usual email messaging system, as well as text/video chat through their instant messaging system.

What we found on Dating For Parents
It would be great to see Allegran (Allegran Limited the company behind, Dating For Parents, Girls Date For Free and Loopy Love.) do the same with Dating For Parents as they have done with Girls Date For Free, and make the site free for Single Parents, but that is probably asking for too much.
Dating For Parents offers a great deal as extras that you access via your mobile phone. We know you know that we don’t rate dating sites that offer too much on mobiles phones because of the hidden expense, at least Dating For Parents gives you the prices and makes it very clear it is above your usual charges (most dating sites do not give this information, and it’s that we don’t like). It isn’t part of using the site, so use of this feature is down to the user.
One thing we do not like about Dating For Parents is the pop under adverts, there isn’t even a check to see if you have already had it displayed. Worse still it is on a session check this means it just keeps opening a new window with the first page you navigate to each time it starts a new session.
Getting rid of the pop unders or at least limiting those to one per day would greatly improve Dating For Parents rating.
