What we found:

• This seems to be a popular site and one of the few that are truly free (though you are limited in search capability's and to 5 messages per day). Do check out how many members are in your area, or meet your requirements.

• You do need to be a trusted member (this means paying by credit card) to get the full benefit of the site.

• More extras than the majority of sites offer, including some very useful tips on getting the most from the site

• Midsummers Eve seems to be more than just a dating site, it looked to us like a community had formed, with members arranging meet-up's for fun and also to raise money for charity

• A good site, useful extras, friendly nature, well worth a good look before buying. Midsummers Eve often have offers available, so please check out the site for any special offers.
